Happy Chuseok

Today marks a very important Korean Holiday; Chuseok . Joe and I celebrated in our own way I guess. We lounged around and cooked all day. Ate and cooked. It is Korean Thanksgiving, but we didn't get to have any Songpyeon today! We did make our own Korean pancake-like dessert. We did have Songpyeon at school at least. We ended up going to a Chuseok traditional music/ dance performance. The photo I've posted here is actually a musical fountain that everyone stands around and watches. We missed part of the real festival, because we couldn't find it and ended up thinking the fountain was "IT". The Chuseok festival was nice (when we finally found it); a crazy tightrope man, and trad. music, with dancing.
