Muffins

We baked some yummy looking muffins today. I say looking, because I can't eat any till Sunday when "The Curse" as the kids call it, has been lifted. Clearly with a lack of religious foundations they have misunderstood Lent for some kind of deal with the devil. I see their point though, no midget gems or cake for 40 days and nights has been torture ;-)

In the afternoon we visited my dad, wife and the guide dog theyre looking after. This one is Ufton but they're only having him for a couple of weeks. We met my grandma there and went for a walk to the fields for a mini Easter egg hunt. And then back for more cake which again I couldn't consume.

M had a major meltdown which was awkward. She's not done that for ages. I am really hoping that it's not her ears again as she's still on antib's after about 7 weeks. She stomped about so aggressively the chair hit their wall, then shouted and cried for a while. She doesn't do herself any favours. :-s

Today's blip is of L eating cakes. She made up for The Curse by licking the paper clean.... On all 4 of hers!

I do enjoy the kids being off school. Feel like they're more mine. Except for when they're naughty and I pretend theyre someone else's. ;-)
