Good Friday Indulgence?

Heston Blumenthal for Waitrose Hot Cross Buns. With Earl Grey tea-soaked fruit for added indulgence. We bought them, and soon we will eat and no doubt enjoy them.

But even to one whose honest reply to the question: Religion? would have to be 'Christian, but with reservations', there is a niggling concern. Hot Cross Buns do commemorate the Crucifixion of Christ, after all.

Hopefully we will manage to keep that in mind while enjoying our indulgent Hot Cross Buns.
