Rubber band bound

The front light on my bike died while I was away on holiday and I've yet to get a replacement.

I was caught a little short, what with the clocks going back, and had the idea of using my bedside torch as a substitute beam.

How to fix it onto my handlebars though?

Ah, what would we do without rubber bands?
