Failed attempt at the great ocean road

We set off early ish on route for the great ocean road, it would appear so was the rest of Melbourne! The highway was chockablock and after an hour of nose to tail we decided to bail on the great ocean road and head for Williamstown, a small sea port over looking the city across the bay. 

Fish and chips were ordered and people watching commenced. Loads of families were picnicking along the green in any piece of shade they could find. I should add at this point that Australian ketchup is packaged differently to home......and I managed to make my sachet explode, some how, considering I was wearing a white top, only one tiny spot landed on my shoulder. 

We then headed back towards the city and Maria and Rhys were kind enough to drive me to my favourite/only soap.....we went to Ramsey street! Although it's not actually called Ramsey street and looks soooo much smaller than it does in the tv. Either way I've been there! Another box ticked :-) 

We then drove down to Brighton for ice cream (becoming a naughty habit) before heading back to Richmond in the city.
