Dublin at dusk

Spent the day sorting out what I needed to pack for a couple of days in Dublin with work. Our Spring Conference was held at the swanky new Dublin Conference Centre in the docklands area of the city.

I took the airport bus in the afternoon, hung around Heathrow for a while and then landed in Dublin just before it got dark. The riverside was very pretty with a tall ship, the harp-shaped bridge and the amazing conference centre.

Had a meal in the Irish equivalent of Pizza Express (trying hard to keep to our ?25 budget; tricky with a bottle of coke at over ?3!). Tiny tables but big pizzas.

Headed off to bed early ready for an early start and manic morning helping to register all our delegates.
