Stanley beat, River Tay

I suppose if you live in the flat conversions on the river-side of Stanley Mill, you have a grandstand seat for any fish action. But I wouldn't be scrambling for tickets this week. There have been precious few salmon caught on the river. This morning it was as raw as it gets in April but by the late afternoon when this picture was taken, the sun was glowing through the cloud. But it still wasn't so warm. My waders had sprung a leak.
