R.J. Mitchell

So HXB Day was a great success. I breakfasted on a couple of the rascals and lounged around reading. A light lunch of bacon in pitta bread was accompanied by some light pottering and tea. Out for a stroll in the glorious sunshine in the afternoon and fish and chips on the way home. The early evening saw an impromptu but well crafted snoozle and now I'm contemplating an evening of vegging to get over such a strenuous holiday de la Banque

This is a BR Class 33/0 No. 33063 named "Reginald J Mitchell" and built shortly after me. I'm guessing that there will be those for whom the name means nothing but the Few who will know straight away. It's leaving Groombridge station on the Spa Valley railway. If you'd like the colour version it's on Flickr.
