About Face

J9 was in the new gallery today so after an early Jack walk we drove up there, j9 staffed the gallery and I got a cracking sofa for her studio, £45 in heart foundation shop!

The exhibition is themed around contemporary interpretation of the portrait. One of j9s pieces involved a latex cast she made of head and shoulders encased between steel mesh. Fantastic and disturbing in equal measure.
