Dark Clouds

It had been a dull grey uninteresting day all day, so I headed out with my camera just after sunset. I was wandering around the shore area looking for something interesting to photograph when I realised there was a very low, very dark cloud moving in from the Forth.

It was moving in so quickly and such a contrast it reminded me of a scene from a sci-fi film (like when the spaceships arrived in "Independence Day"), it was moving so quickly I didn't think I had time to switch to a wider lens so this was the result. The photo doesn't do it justice but the sky turned from a greyish blue to black in no time.
