Graham's Cord Wood House
It's been a while since I've visited Grahams place, so it was good to walk around his permaculture (permenant agriculture) plot and see how things have evolved. Graham built and lived in the cord wood house but now it's used as a work shop and he has since built a well insulated cabin. About five years ago, along with another friend we hosted a permaculture design course, spending three days in each of our three homesteads and sharing what we were up to with the fifteen students, it was a great experience.
We had a lovely supper and the salad included some of his unusual perennial veg. like Siberian purslane and Turkish rocket!
I'm looking forward to tomorrow my one day off over the Easter weekend but Schull is busy with visitors, so good for the business and we need to clear a few bills!
