Sunrise and Blippers Block!

The two most important times in Western terms are obviously not celebrated here in the Middle East (Christmas and Easter) so while others around the world are enjoying their Easter Weekend, life goes on as usual here.

For the first time in 133 days I didn't pick up my camera and take a picture yesterday, have the usual cold from being on an aeroplane and just couldn't get motivated. But when I saw the sunrise this morning I just had to pick up my camera. As summer makes it's way here the sun keeps moving northwards and at the moment is not framed against anything, just a big red ball, so I put my hand carved bird, bought in Cape Town, on the balcony wall to make it slightly more interesting.
