Nobody wants DJs anymore...

"Nobody wants DJs anymore." was a sentence uttered in passing by our DJ helper outer/board member in response to his own suggestion of using an MP3 player on the PA he was loaning up for the day.

While the convenience factor probably makes this true (Stu's player here probably holds a lot more music and is an awful lot more portable than the 5kg box of records, turntables and mixer we have in the van.) I think there still is a good demand for vinyl DJs. I reckon the tangible aspect of buying/collecting physical records helps appreciation of the music printed on them.
