Meet Fernando ......

... who lives with Rosie (who you can see in the background) and a shetland pony (name unknown) in the field adjoining my back garden.

I know nothing about horses but I'm sure he is a fine specimen.

I'm more than a bit wary of being around large things with four legs (tables excluded!) and it took a lot for me to get this close - MOH was close at hand but I'm not sure he would have been much good in a crisis as he's not a 'horse person' either.

I'm not sure what sort of crisis I anticipated!.....
