The Weather Vane

We haven't gone out today. We really enjoy spending time at home doing nothing. This weather vane is on the top of our barn. I'm not sure if it really works or even if the N, S, E and W are pointing in the correct direction.

I like it though. And sometimes, when you get home late, it makes a feint sinister squeaking sound when the wind blows.
