Breaking the rules?

A police launch hauls off the swimmer who disrupted The Boat Race. Image cribbed from the TV so doesn't really count as my picture ... sorry.

I got up at 05:00 AZ time this especially to watch the boat race and cheer the dark blues on. For those twenty minutes I would be in England in spirit. What an exciting race until a swimmer's head popped up in front of the Oxford boat.

The race was a bloody shambles after the restart - well, three cheers for Cambridge; but Oxford are the better crew. At least Isis won the earlier race making what may be a course record.

I do hope Alex Woods recovers.
