This flying business is hard work
Guinea fowl at Creich Farm in North Fife. We walked a bit more of the new northern section of the Fife Coast Path by the Tay - mostly on roads but very quiet ones and it was a pleasant and interesting walk. Sore legs at the end though.
At Creich Farm there were a lot of cows with calves (and a bull who must have been very busy); a duck pond with mallard, teal and coot; and a flock of guinea fowl squawking like electric grouse. Over the road there were 3 more guinea fowl - two of them flew across to join the flock so I was ready when this last one flew (but not ready enough to get a sharp picture). He/she looks very determined - flight must be hard work for a guinea fowl.
Anyway I thought I'd rather blip a fuzzy guinea fowl trying to fly than a sharp guinea fowl, bull or tulip doing nothing.
