Clix : Aperture Wide Shut

Is it Time to take over The World?

You can never be sure.

The day started off with sorting out the girls' room. They slept in their own room last night. Yipee!

Then we walked into town and went to The City Cafe for lunch. The kids lunches were served on frisbees and after lunch they both got given a free frisbee to try out in the park. Toots was very pleased as this was her first frisbee ever so was desperate to give it a try.

We walked back via the National Museum of Scotland that was even busier than usual. It turned out that Prof. Sethu Vijayakumar from the University of Edinburgh was showing off some of his team's work.

Dancing robots!

All part of the International Science Festival.

Real fun and impressive stuff.

Toots started asking about her piggy robot and lamenting that piggy robot hadn't been out in ages. Must do better Daddy.

Then it was off to the Meadows to try out those frisbees.

Daddy's first throw goes wide and Toots is none too impressed. She wanted to catch it.

Daddy tries again and the frisbee glides on a perfect path. Toots has her arms outstretched. Eyes wide with anticipation of the catch.

Whack!

Bulls eye. Straight on the nose!

Howls ensue, and as she is led away from bad Daddy with blood streaming out her nose I decide it's safer to put the lethal frisbee away in the bag and go home for chocolate cake instead.

All in all an eventful day.
