a teeny tiny disaster

first day of uni today and - in something we are considering a bad omen - my friend's car broke down in the centre lane of the motorway sliproad, just before a major roundabout!!

I must say, I was rather disappointed by the lack of sympathy displayed by other drivers... eventually a lovely man stopped and helped us push the car onto the verge... if by some strange coincidence the hero in question is reading this, THANK YOU!!!
