Unsuccessful attempt to visit and English heritage property (gate locked despite sign saying gate unlocked) and Arlesford (full) we ended up at this restaurant in Winchester we've been meaning to try. Fantastic food - good enough to be a special celebration restaurant - and as can be seen from this toilet note loads of 'character'.
