A quiet day

After yesterday's hectic day I was determined to have a quiet day today with no driving here there and everywhere. This morning's doggie walk was along the solway marsh nr Port Carlisle which I do most days with Bonnie my elderly collie.

The tide was out and it all looks very dull as weather was overcast but I'm sure I'll be able to blip it again when its brighter. As I'm sat here typing this I'm wondering why I didn't blip Bonnie as she would have brightened the view and loves being photographed.

I did another walk later on with a friend's dog in Finlandrigg Woods which is a lovely place to walk and meet other dogs. I do believe there's an Easter Egg hunt there tomorrow for the children.

I also managed to cut my back lawn as heard on the weather forecast that rain is on its way for tomorrow. So all in all I had a nice quiet day!
