Cherry Blossoms Festival

This annual festival will last almost a full two months this year, through end of April, as it's celebrating the centennial of the "gift of trees" from Japan. Owing to an incredibly mild winter, the blossoms are long gone, which is too bad for those tourists who'd planned their vacation according to the buds.

Tonite, there were fireworks over DC's wharf and fire dances. I was too far away in the crowd to get a decent shot of the dancers, but did manage the fireworks. :)
