Curse You Red Baron!

Every 2 years Wanaka has an Air Show. Now for an uncomplicated dog like me this is an oxymoron because even I know you can't see the air, except on frosty mornings and it hasn't got to winter yet.
Anyway it's called Warbirds over Wanaka and heaps of folk come to town to watch these lovely old aeroplanes do their thing complete with mock battles and all the other "romantic" aspects of war.
TT was telling me about Arlington where the Boss and Bosses went while in the USA so I guess this would be the unromantic part. Of course there was a DOG that flew an aeroplane, A Sopwith Camel and they had one of those chugging about the sky. The Dog was of course Snoopy who used to do battle with The Bloody Red Baron, and this event is replayed every Christmas on thousands of radio stations worldwide.
See A Famous Dog! Of course I was not personally allowed in to the show and a good thing too. I was taken out for a walk instead and by the sound of The Boss's report I would NOT have liked the banging and loud noises. So the executive summary here is? Wheaten Terriers prefer to make love not war. It's quieter!
