Light texture

It was a beautiful morning when I woke up. I heard the door closed. My husband just came back from the market with breakfast for me.

This is the breakfast which I had. It is smooth soya beancurd in light brown sugar syrup called Dou Hua which is freshly made every day and served warm. The literal translation for Dou Hua is "bean flower".

I once told one of my Singaporean friends that I didn't have appetite often in the morning and she recommended to have some Dou Hua. Since then I've been in love with its texture. It is nicely warm and sweet and feels comfortable in my stomach.
