Orbital

We had a brilliant night at Optimo, it's great to see it back as a resident DJ night although the Sunday which is generally guest DJs and special events is still good, just not quite the same.

The four o'clock license and a chat at the end meant it was about 5 am by the time we got back to our accomodation. Still, since we were in serviced apartments we didn't have to get up early for breakfast so we slept until 1.

When we did get up we didn't do much just had a potter about for a wee bit then headed for an early dinner at 4.30. That gave us time for a wee disco nap before heading across the Clyde to the O2 Academy to catch Orbital live. It must be at least the fifteenth time we've seen them live but they were still amazing. It was a really good night even if we weren't much up for dancing after the Friday night Saturday morning. Thankfully we were in the minority which meant we got seats right at the front of the balcony in the middle.

After a great show all we were up for was heading back to the appartment and getting an early night since we had a ten am check out. We ended up walking up thje road with Woody and Cat who were staying round the corner from us in Bath Street.
