Best egg ever....free range too ;-))) Some Cadbury chocolate fingers as soldiers would have been the perfect accompaniment but still pretty tasty without.

I am swanning about posting my blip as though I have all the time in the world! Alan's grandpa arriving in less than half an hour and still got loads to do before he arrives! Dinner is under control though....juicy prawns just awaiting their cocktail dressing and a squeeze of lemon, beef stew bubbling away in the slow cooker yes I did remember to switch it on this time! :-)) and syrup steam puddings and custard for afters. Calories not being counted today just like any other day! ;-))

D just back from dumping all the rubbish from the garage at the tip so at last the garage is clear. Next job, begin emptying the loft into the garage and start going through all the boxes deciding what stays and what goes! That's a job for later in the week though!

Right, time to get the kettle on for a nice cuppa and some easter cake when Grandpa arrives.
