what easter chicks grow into

Husband, daughter, granddaughter and I all visited a small, local animal sanctuary. I remembered it as being rather shambolic when I visited with my young daughters but they have smartened up just enough, I think - still very low key and friendly but with a little more health and safety awareness! the emphasis is still clearly on the animals, with their welfare extremely well cared for.
We were able to cuddle baby rabbits and chicks and the baby person was incredibly gentle with them. Her mum had just as much fun. Seemed an appropriate way to spend some of Easter sunday - we have also been eating chocolate, just for tradition's sake of course!
