The one that got away...

This should really have been yesterday's blip. When we were wandering round the market yesterday we came across a stand that was about promoting safer driving amongst young people by giving under 17s opportunities to get behind the wheel with an instructor off the public roads before they are old enough to have proper lessons. For only a fiver our Chris (15) could have a 10 minute lesson. We were extremely impressed by Chris' driving skills considering a) he had never driven before and b) he had an audience. He manouvered the car really well and even did a perfect example of parallel parking. We were very proud of him and even his sister Ellie (test passed first time a few weeks ago) had to admit he is "going to be okay".
Now, the thing is, today this set me wondering. This was a really big thing (and certainly the most significant thing that happened yesterday) so why didn't I blip it instead of the picture of a stranger with a tiger fixation (see yesterday). I guess it was because I thought people would find the tiger woman pic more interesting. But if that is the case, who am I doing this for? Me or other Blippers?
Anyway, Chris (I know you always read these), I thought you were great yesterday and you really should have been the subject of yesterday's blip. Note to self: this journal should be about the stuff that's important to me - not what might get the most views or comments.
