Sticky Toffee

Just back from a little trip away - we went to The Windlestraw Lodge - it's a very lovely house in Walkerburn near Peedles. It's on the side of the valley looking across the river Tweed. Well worth a visit if you find yourself in the vicinity.

In addition to a beautiful old house with fab rooms - this place has the best food. Pudding was sticky toffee pudding and was to die for.

We went with brother in law and his girlfriend - we bought them a voucher for Christmas for over night stay and dinner. Best thing is we got to go along too.
