Easter Sunday
This afternoon I went to Opwierde, a very small village near Appingedam.
This village exists of a few houses and farms and a Roman-Gothic church built in the 13th century.
Nowadays the church is being used as the rehearsal-location for the Appingedam brassband Constantijn Huijgens, of which my father in law has been a member for more than 50 years, and still is; who happend to have his 64th birthday today, which was the reason for being in Appingedam (where he lives) in the first place, which is why I was near Opwierde this afternoon.
And so on and so on...
