David Hockney @ the Royal Academy of Arts

This was the queue for the David Hockney exhibition! It's the first time I've participated in such a queue, and thankfully the wait was worth it. (Just about reaching the entrance in the photo)

The Exhibition focused on Hockney's paintings inspired by the East Yorkshire landscape. Many of the paintings on show were specially created for the exhibition which is fascinating in itself. The visual journeys from charcoal drawings to iPad paintings were brilliant, and the palette of colours were just mesmerising.
