Retreat

I stayed in London at a retreat, which is very restful. I worked late in the Head Office near Aldgate and by the time I reached the hotel it was so late I had no appetite to eat. I read for about an hour before I fell asleep. In the morning a bell tolls to call visitors to prayer. It is a lovely place, steeped in history and helpful staff. Tucked away in the centre of London, it feels a bit like my own oasis.
