Downhill from Buttertubs

This was the start of a 3 day trip to Swaledale in the Northern Yorkshire Dales National Park.

We took the train to the Ribblehead Viaduct station, then cycled to Hawes and over the Buttertubs pass down into Swaledale. The roads were quiet and peaceful and the scenery stunning. The snow added an extra dimension as it clung to the edges of the fields.
