Welcome to Cheltenham Badlands, about half an hour's drive from Georgetown, a strange geographical formation caused by overgrazing of the land in the 1930s, that exposed the red iron oxide-tinged shale beneath. The result is a Mars-like landscape . . . and photographers with sore knees . . .
