Dinner - paneer jalfrezi

Has slightly odd incident today. Last Friday when I was in the laundrette a man came in begging for money so that he could "do his washing". He had no washing with him. He was the exact sort of person I deal with every day at work and I'm afraid I have little compassion for drunk, able bodied young men begging for money off those of us who work for a living. Today I had to go back to the laundrette and spotted him outside drinking a can of lager. He then came in and once again begged for money off me. When I declined and pointed out he had already asked me recently and said that I was not going to give him money he said I was being rude and called me a bitch and sat down in the laundrette and asked someone else for money who also told him no. I was pretty annoyed at being called a bitch by some drunk chav. I also wondered if I had handled it wrong and should not have challenged him. When I left the laundrette he was hanging around outside staring at me. I emailed the police contact centre and they responded within 15 mins to say they had passed the info on to the officers patrolling that area and they would look out for him. It just annoyed me that I can't go to the bloody laundrette without being hassled by some idiot. Grrrr.

Anyway, apart from that I had expected today to be very quiet but I got a message from Rachel asking if I wanted to go out for an Indian with her, her husband and Kam. I went. It was a fun evening. I ate too much.
