Spider vs. Gnat

I am surprised to find that a spider has crawled into my blip once again.

I discovered this little spider busily following through with capturing and dining on a gnat that had been ensnared in its web.

I will refrain from regaling you with all the gory details. Suffice it to say I witnessed a true wildlife adventure on a 5mm scale.

I must say this vignette tickled my arachnophobia bones a bit.
