Today is a public holiday in the UK and I had various plans for where I could go to take an interesting photo. Still, before setting off it's always sensible to check everything is charged and working, right? I still regret the time I went to Bletchley Park and found that I'd forgotten to put an SD card in my camera...

While checking, I pointed the compact at my laptop while it was in macro mode and got this. Although I knew the theory of how TFT screens are made, I'd not seen it illustrated so well before. So I thought I'd blip this and stay at home instead - it's raining anyway!
