A year ago today I blipped our magnolia tree (last year with an iphone 3GS and this year with an iphone 4). It was in full bloom which it isn't this year. Today the magnolia is mostly in bud and looking very battered by the high winds of this weekend. Winds that also made a photo pretty difficult to take.


In other news, Kai just had his first 'snap crackle and pop' experience.

'What's that?' he asked me with big eyes!

At my explanations, he gave me a very dubious expression and refused to eat the rice crispies!!


In other (essential) news, I discovered and made Nutella mug cakes last night. I have a few ideas to perfect them and make my own signature recipe but they were awesome.
