Corhampton Monster...........

I Know, I Know, not a bird, butterfly, bumblebee or beast in sight, but this big, beautiful monster of a tree got my imagination racing......

It wouldn't be lost on the set of a film such as Sleepy Hollow or even Robin Hood, and at a very big stretch Avatar........well may be not Avatar.

I could just imagine a door opening somewhere in the lower part of the tree and a headless horseman riding out to dish out some terror to the locals in a near by village, of course it's not actually in a hollow or even a small copse, it actually stands proud up on Corhampton Down, in Hampshire, there by also eliminating it from being a film extra in Robin Hood, Hampshire being nowhere near Nottinghamshire.

It makes an awsome sight without its foliage so i imagine when it's fully clothed it must be a stunning sight.............
