I am a mutant.

Today aloe and water have been my best friends. After spending a few hours at the beach yesterday I got horribly sunburnt. It doesn't hurt much, but my face is the color of a tomato.

As soon as I entered the school this morning the laughing started.
Since I am pretty much the only white person at my school none of the kids understood how or why someone's face could be such a red color-- they had never heard of sunburn before. What a great learning experience for everyone.

Never again will I forget to apply SPF 30 and the kids now know that the sun has powerful rays that can be harmful to people.
