The Incredible

Violet from the 2004 animated film The Incredibles!

This Brad Bird film was apparently touch and go as neither Pixar nor Disney felt they could animate hair as long as Violets. However, they eventually managed it and the film went ahead. It was a resounding box office success, bringing in a half a billion dollar profit!

When I first watched it, I thought the soundtrack had a James Bond-ish feel to it in parts. I've since discovered that they asked John Barry to replicate his 'On her Majesty's Secret Service', however he turned them down, the job going to Michael Giacchino instead (famous for film and tv music such as 'Lost', Star Trek(2010), and another Brad Bird animation, Ratatouille).
