Wild Flower?

We spotted this whilst out for a walk in the woods today and are not sure if it is wild or not? Janette thought it was related to a Periwinkle and it is a part of the wood that could have been used for dumping garden waste at some time - any thoughts?
We actually had quite a decent day in spite of the poor forecast, I hope you did too.
