Barnbougle Castle
This is a shot up from Cramond to Barnbougle Castle. The structures in the forefront are the old defence pylons which were erected during world war 2 to defend the firth, they run the lenght of the causeway to cramond island. The current Barnbougle castle was pretty much rebuilt in the late 18th century and is owned by the Earl of Rosebery. The structure behind the castle is the Forth rail bridge.
It had been a fairly dull day but just as we pulled up the sun appeared for a very brief moment.
