no rhyme no reason

a friend of mine ran an event at the jazz bar to celebrate kerouac's birthday (actually on the 12th of march). clearly i took part, i mean, kerouac! we all got sent snippets from jack's stuff. i had a piece from visions of cody. then we had to take inspiration from it and write our own piece. was such a great night! extremely high level poetry was read and being hosted by the jazz bar was simply amazing. i was truly in heaven when reading on stage.
