Almscliff Crag from Farnley
As usual, much better in large
I've been working at the office today as I'd reached the limit of what could be achieved from home without access to the servers. Fortunately, for me, it's been another typically wet Bank Holiday. I detoured to Otley on a damp cycle into work, needing to find a shot looking east so as the rain would be on my back. I was quite pleased to find these rocks at the edge of the field, kind of mirroring the crag in the distance. The skies have been great today. Cycling back over the moor just now, right before dusk, the sky was amazingly dark and brooding. The only way to have captured it, though, would have been with a 360 deg panorama.
I've made quite a lot of progress today, but not quite enough to sleep happily tonight. A lot of things are being put on hold at the moment to make sure that I meet this deadline. There are people in my life, old friends, who keep up with me on blip, and for weeks now I've been meaning to get in touch, but there is so much to catch up on, and the time never seems to be there. So, hoping you'll know who you are, please bear with me a bit longer. This has just been a very tough few weeks. I think I see light at the end of the tunnel - and this time I'm pretty sure it's not an oncoming train!
