Operation Derbyshire Drenching
I enjoyed a great 6 mile hike today on a wet Easter Bank Holiday Monday with Derby Central Salvation Army members and 2 dogs. We all met in the village of Biggin and walked a circular route that included part of Dovedale. The scenery was so beautiful it hardly mattered about the virtually constant rain. Although it's said that there's no such thing as bad weather, merely the wrong clothing! Rain did seep in here and there, but my feet kept dry thanks to my trusty Berghaus Gore-Tex boots which have served me well for years!
