Sketch no. 53 - delay!

Have been down South over Easter visiting family, so unfortunately no opportunities for daily sketching. Have had a great few days though.

Holiday weekend started on post work Thursday. Friend came round for dinner and good conversation. It had been around a year since we had last caught up, so a blether well overdue. She brought with her these lovely flowers, which have now fully bloomed and are adding some cheer to our kitchen.

Friday saw a fantastic bike ride down in near Sanquhar. It was raining, but the scenery more than made up for it. Cycled up the Mennock Pass to the highest village in Scotland, Wanlochhead. I was proud that I could get up the hill, albeit slowly and surely:) Then quick bath, change and food, and flight down south :)

I took some nice photos over the weekend, so my next few sketches may be adaptations from these.
