Dear Heart,
We were surprised (and not pleasantly) by a visit from Christine and Richard this morning. Tilly fled to the utility room and hid under clean bed sheets until they left! Jon and Kim popped in this evening, and we all talked theology until my eyes filled up and my throat stung.
The bathroom's finished. It's beautiful. I bathed by candlelight in silence, quietly excited for tomorrow.
