Farmington Station

Since it is our 43rd wedding anniversary today, we took the Front Runner (our local lite rail service) to a new shopping center in Farmington. It's not that far away, but the train saves having to fight freeway traffic. Did some shopping and lots of looking. Then, we came home and fixed a lovely dinner with Prime New York steaks, with a pasta side dish and Caesar salad, with cream puffs covered with strawberries and whipped cream for dessert. It was delicious, and so much nicer than going out to eat.

The photo above shows one of the murals that is painted on the glass. It is translucent, and adds a nice touch of history to the station. Many of the stations have murals similar to this.
