Giving up the caravan

My mum has had a caravan up in the lovely Norfolk village of Overstrand for about 24 years. When she died 4 years ago, the site let me take the tenancy and van over and me and some of her friends have been keeping it going since then. It's a 6 hour drive from Bristol, on a clear road and too much to do more than a couple of times a year so this season we've decided we'll have to give the van up. I went to clear it out this weekend. This is my photo of my final walk along the beach, unfortunately not in very good weather. The old van is off to Poland or Russia - don't know what it will be involved in there and am not going to think about it too carefully... It had a very happy life with us.
